Darren Smith, who has been a member of Scrappers for 6 months, started attending our Box For Health sessions on Wednesdays in January 2019.
Our Box For Health sessions are specifically targeted towards people who suffer with mental health conditions and would like to get fit and active.
With support from Phoenix Enterprises, Darren’s boxing journey continued and he has become a regular participant in a range of our sessions.
On 18th May 2019, Darren fought his first fight raising money for both Scrappers Boxing Gym and Community Fitness Centre and Phoenix Enterprises. He came out swinging with a massive £200.00 donation to Scrappers Boxing Gym.
